With the Oranges series, I am primarily focused on the joy created by the juxtaposition of the complementary colors blue and orange.  It’s a collage that feels vibrant, fresh, and healthy.  It’s the perfect piece for a kitchen.  

A friend of mine who lost everything in the L.A. fires purchased another work from the Oranges series and put it in his kitchen.  He is still healing from losing absolutely everything, but this is the first piece of art he brought into his new temporary home.  It makes him feel hopeful when he looks at it each day.
